John Penkala

Sonic Group Principal

John has supported the implementation of quality management systems and integrated management systems in over 50 organizations as a senior consultant at Sonic Group. He has developed and delivered training courses on quality, health and safety, improvement, auditing, and process management, and serves as a lead assessor for quality management systems. John continues to work as a lead auditor supporting audits across a wide range of organizations in several different industries. With experience in the application of management systems within SMEs as well as complex multi-national organizations he has a demonstrated ability to effectively apply international standards in many different organizational settings and cultures. His project management skills and ability to utilize process standards to improve performance without adding unnecessary bureaucracy are assets to anyone considering ISO-based systems implementation as a means to improve consistency and business performance results. John is a Lead Auditor for quality management systems, has a Bachelor of Arts in Science and Technology Studies from York University and an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technicians Diploma from Humber College.

Diane Pryde

Network Associate

Diane has worked in leadership positions in the management systems field for over 25 years. This has included national and multi-national positions in marketing and sales, operations and executive leadership for several large international companies. During these tenures Diane successfully identified, trained, mentored and led management teams to improve performance and achieve outstanding results. Often tasked with company turnarounds Diane achieved results with her ability to inspire confidence and create loyal and productive teams. With her passion for growth, Diane introduced many new product lines and achieved additional success by entering and penetrating new markets. In addition, Diane has experience in the development and implementation of management systems in a wide variety of manufacturing and service companies spanning multiple industries. Diane has a degree in Biology from Napier College in Edinburgh Scotland.

Charissa has worked in the corporate and non-profit worlds for the past thirty years. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to organizations through her HR background, business leadership and is a Certified Independent Communication Coach. She is the Founder of Covich Group, CCG Breakthrough, and has founded a local charity in which she holds the title of Executive Director. Charissa has developed workplace training, mentor programs and leadership
development training customized to the individual needs of the organization. Through her strategic and focused program, she has been able to help professionals on all levels with better communication, sustain healthy team environments and become confident leaders and mentors to their teams.
